All figures have been extracted from the Scotish Government website “Schools Rolls by Stage” https://www.gov.scot/publications/school-level-pupil-numbers-by-stage This public data contains the school roll for every school in Scotland with figures going back as far as 2002. We have taken each spreadsheet and extracted the numbers for the schools we are interested in only. All images are free to use and can be downloaded (usually right click on the image and choose ‘save image as’ however the exact method changes by browser and will be different on tablet or mobile).
Every effort has been made to ensure accuracy when extracting the figures for the Glasgow GME Schools from this collection of files which cover all schools in Scotland, however if you find any errors please let me know.

A Note on Annexe Numbers:
The number of pupils at an annexe are counted in the BSGG numbers whenever an annexe existed.
Prior to each new GME School opening BSGG has had an Annexe for one or two years as noted above. Prior to Glendale opening in 2016 this was known as a ‘school within a school’ as it was located on a different floor within the same building. In each case the number of children attending BSGG at Berkeley Street and its Annexe is counted as one total figure. We do not have a historic breakdown of Berkeley Street/Annexe, however we do have those numbers for the current North Kelvinside annexe which will become Bun-sgoil Ghàidhlig a’ Challtainn, these are shown in italics at the bottom of the BSGG table but nowhere else to avoid double counting.
